A cataract
rushes under a disused rail track where once trains steamed and
rushed by, on their way to town and country. Silent now but for the
sound of tumbling water, the stone buttresses still, the seemingly
frail bridge holding them apart, a bridge that carried the onward
rush of mans progress now redundant.

Cast stone
buttresses fixed either side of a naturally weathered oak beam end
that is mounted on a black stained oak post and timber dais. The
bridge from machined oak and card finished in acrylic paints, iron
particle paint treated with tormalin rusting
agent.
